We spent a day in the art room last week and we learnt to use different painting techniques to create a landscape piece of art.

Our School Assembly

Room 22 hosted the whole school assembly on Monday of Week 7.

We performed 2 plays. We had so much fun and did really well!

The Bearded Dragon

We had a special visitor in to see us this week. It was a ........ Bearded Dragon!

We were very excited to ask questions and have a cuddle with the bearded dragon.

The Bearded Dragon

The dragon has spikes on its back. It eats bugs and vegetables. It's brown and yellow. It has on long tail. It likes to crawl on our jackets. It also likes people and it sleeps on the wall.

Papatoetoe War Exhibition and Medal Trip

On Tuesday we walked to Youthline where we met Adele and Jenny who took us through an amazing war exhibition and helped us make medals. It was a great trip! Here are some photos..

Swimming Lessons!

We have been enjoying our weekly swimming lessons this term. Each week we walk to the Papatoetoe Pools for a half hour lesson with a swimming instructor. Everyone has been trying really hard and showing lots of improvement.
