This term, we have been learning about sign language. It started during New Zealand Sign Language Week back in May, when we read a journal article about it. Since then, we have learned a lot about sign language, including the alphabet, how to say our names and some other basic greetings. A couple of weeks ago, Room 22 hosted the Year 5 Kakapo Assembly. Here is a video of us practising the song we sang in sign language!
